The Wrap Around labels are printed on silver or white transparent OPP with the ability to print on up to 8 different colors. The final product can be layered with U.V coating (varnish) or by lamination. Basically, you can print all around in 360 degrees and also get amazing high quality results.

IML/BML labels are unique and environmental friendly labels based on high quality printing technology. Using 2 different technologies the print is combined into the label.
The difference between both methods is that each one is compatible with other materials:
In-Mold Labeling (IML) – for printing using injection
Blow-Mold Labeling (BML) – for printing using extrusion and blow molding

We are the first company in Israel to print on adhesive tapes, for sealing boxes. Only the best adhesives are in stock for the best printing experience. The tapes come in 3 colors: white, brown and transparent and there are 3 more colors for you to pick to print on it. The printing is done on P.V.C or on P.P.
You can take the adhesive tapes yourself (132 meters tops) or take length long enough for your machines (660 or 990 meters) or otherwise your preferences.

Stickers are the most basic labels, but they can be quite useful. We had the biggest customers in the market coming to us and we have learned how to reach the full potential of our stickers.
We provide a variety of stickers and adhesives for different products, with precise designs made by our graphic designers’ crew of 7, using the best and latest software and additionally, by using special software we can visualize the final product before the actual printing.

Which label suits a chilled or deep-frozen product?

Deep-frozen products need a label with an adhesive that stays stable at low temperatures and does not peel. We produce labels resistant to deep freeze, labels resistant to moisture, humidity and cold, and labels designed for application onto damp surfaces — such as ice cream and frozen meat packaging. The choice is determined by the actual application temperature on the production line, not only by the storage temperature.

What is the difference between a self-adhesive label and a shrink sleeve?

A self-adhesive label is a label with adhesive, applied to a defined area of the packaging. A shrink sleeve is a plastic sleeve that goes over the whole package and shrinks with heat until it conforms to its shape. A self-adhesive label suits cases where a specific area of the product needs to be marked, or where information changes between production runs. A sleeve suits cases where 360° graphic coverage is wanted. Both are produced in-house.

Can different information be printed on each individual label?

Yes. We print variable data from label to label — serial numbers, batch codes, unique barcodes or promotional codes. This is done as part of the printing process, not as a separate stage.

Labels on rolls or in sheets — which to choose?

We supply labels both on rolls and as individual sheets. Rolls suit application by an automatic labelling machine on a production line and allow a high working rate. Individual sheets suit manual application or small runs. The choice is determined mainly by how the label is applied at the plant, not by order quantity.

Which label withstands contact with chemicals?

For products in contact with chemicals — detergents, cleaning agents, industrial products — we produce labels resistant to chemical contact using lamination, which protects the print from abrasion and rub-off. Alongside these we offer labels with a protective varnish coating and light-resistant labels.

What is a jumper label, and when is it used?

A jumper label — also called a pop-up label — is a label where part of it is stuck to the product and the other part stays free and springs outward. It stands out on the shelf and draws attention, so it is used mainly to flag promotions, new products or marketing messages on existing packaging.

Which printing technologies are behind the labels?

What is a shrink sleeve, and when is it preferable to a label?

A shrink sleeve is a printed plastic sleeve that goes over the package and shrinks with heat until it conforms to its shape. Unlike a label, it allows 360-degree printing, including on bottles with asymmetric shapes, narrow necks or waisted profiles. A sleeve is the right choice when full graphic coverage of the package is wanted, when the product shape does not allow a flat label to be applied, or when a tamper-evident closure needs to be integrated into the same component.

What is the difference between a shrink sleeve and a wrap-around label?

A wrap-around label is a printed web wrapped around a cylindrical bottle and sealed at the edge. A shrink sleeve is a closed sleeve that shrinks with heat and conforms to the shape of the package. Wrap-around suits straight cylindrical containers and offers a lower unit cost on large runs. A shrink sleeve suits packages with complex shapes, allows full coverage of the bottle including the neck, and allows a tamper-evident mechanism to be integrated. Both are produced at S. Lerner, and the choice is made according to package shape, run size and the branding impact required.

Which materials are sleeves made from, and how is the choice made?

We print sleeves on all materials available on the market – PVC, PET, PLA and OPS – according to the customer’s requirement. The choice follows from the package shape and the shrink ratio required, from the filling and storage conditions of the product, and from recycling and regulatory considerations in the relevant sector. Our pre-press team supports the choice against the specific requirements of each product.

Can a tamper-evident closure be integrated into the sleeve?

Yes. We produce full-bottle sleeves, sleeves with a tamper-evident or smart closure, and a combination of the two – a full-bottle sleeve that also includes the tamper-evident closure mechanism.

Do you print small runs as well?

Yes. Alongside printing large runs for leading customers in the market, we operate an HP Indigo press at the factory that allows smaller runs to be produced digitally.
